About This Tour
Ocean World is one of Puerto Plata's best-known family attractions and is especially convenient for guests staying on the western side of the city or arriving at Amber Cove. The day begins with a direct transfer to the park, where guests receive the current show and activity schedule. Because presentations run at set times, the best way to experience the park is to plan the day around those times rather than walking randomly from area to area.
The standard park admission includes access to marine exhibits such as dolphins and sea lions, tropical bird areas, shark-feeding observation and recreational spaces. Eligible guests can snorkel in the tropical reef aquarium, and families can use the Pirate's Pool and the Dolphin Beach lagoon. Official park information lists minimum-height rules for some water activities, so parents should review current restrictions before promising every activity to younger children.
Animal encounters - including dolphin swim programs, dolphin encounters, sea-lion interactions and other premium experiences - are not automatically part of the day pass. Those should be sold as specific upgrades with their own age, height and health requirements. This separation keeps the base tour clear and prevents guests from assuming a dolphin swim is included simply because they are visiting Ocean World.

Pickup
Depart from the hotel or cruise port for Cofresí and Ocean World.
Park entry
Check in and receive the current daily schedule for shows, feedings and available activities.
Morning exhibits
Visit selected animal exhibits and presentations based on the schedule.
Reef/pool time
Snorkel in the reef aquarium if eligible, relax at the Dolphin Beach lagoon or use the Pirate's Pool.
Lunch
Enjoy the lunch included with the day-pass product.
Afternoon activities
Complete remaining exhibits, bird areas, photos and optional paid upgrades if pre-booked.
Return
Meet the driver at the designated time and return to the hotel or cruise port.
